Instead, we changed our plans overnight, just six weeks before the beginning of the semester, and decided to go to Australia on a working holiday visa instead.<\/p><p>Had either of us been to Australia before or done any research whatsoever?<\/p><p>Absolutely not.<\/p><p>What followed ended up being the most memorable year of our lives and we find ourselves being drawn back to Australia over and over again years later.
