Western Australia
IS THIS THE PRETTIEST AUSTRALIAN STATE?
Western Australia is a must-visit for anyone going on a camping trip in Australia. Don't be put off by how far away it is from everything else - that's what makes it even more exciting.
Enjoy some of the best beaches in Australia, untouched nature and the open road. Explore Perth, the most isolated city in the world, and don’t forget to visit the small town of Fremantle and, of course, the incredible Rottnest Island.
In the south, close to Albany and Esperance you’ll find deserted white-sand beaches with crystal-clear waters. Then there is the Outback with its endless dirt roads and mining culture. You’ll never run out of potential road trips in a country with so much incredible nature and unique coastline.

PERTH - THE WESTERN AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL
Perth sits so far away from any other major Australian city that it feels like a different world. It's an underrated place and a fantastic starting point for road trips all around the country.
Head to Fremantle, an artsy beach town with lots of cafes, breweries and pretty beaches. Don’t miss out on the Fremantle Markets and the many museums that are located here.
Then there is Rottnest Island, which is located off the shore of Perth and is known for being home to the quokka, a small marsupial. Rottnest Island has even better beaches and is best explored by bike.
