Where is Byron Bay located?

Byron Bay, which is located in the northeastern corner of New South Wales, Australia, is a popular tourist destination. Known for its picturesque beaches, scenic coastline and laid-back atmosphere, it attracts surfers, hikers and camping enthusiasts. The town is located on the Pacific Ocean coast, about 765 km north of Sydney and 165 km south of Brisbane.

Glamping or camping?

Byron Bay is the perfect place to go camping, but if you’re considering switching it up by trying glamping instead, it’s important to note the differences. Firstly, camping usually means you’re bringing all of your own equipment, including a tent, whereas glamping sites provide everything for you.

However, when you compare glamping to rental cabins on a campsite, you’ll find that with glamping it’s all about the aestetics. Stay in spacious and very instagrammable bell tents and enjoy a real bathroom, bed, furniture and electricity. You’ll love a glamping trip if you want closeness to nature but don’t feel like leaving your luxuries and comfort behind.
